GUEST: Boo Takagi
When we were trying to decide a theme for "This Week's Top 2," a corner in "Tres Bien Bohemian" to be aired on March 24 through 26, we found two CDs, "Takagi Boo" and "T'Boo" in the studio. We were livened up by them and instantly decided that the theme would be "Boo Top 2." As soon as "Boo Top 2" was aired, it received one of the biggest ever responses from our listeners. GUEST: Aaliyah
Hikaru Utada has often said, "It was when I heard Aaliyah's "Age Ain't Nothing But a Number" that I got hooked on R&B." It's not an overstatement to say Aaliyah is the root of Utada's R&B. So, Aaliyah will be the guest, following Brian May, both of whom are artists that Utada has always wanted to meet. Aaliyah will appear in the program during her visit to Japan in between her promotional activities for "Romeo Must Die," a movie she stars in together with Jet Lee. The first talk between Aaliyah, active as artist and sometimes actress, and Hikaru Utada is a must-hear!
